Default Missing Sprites While Playing Nes?

Games effected: Super mario bros. 3 and megaman, possibly others

So i hooked up my av cables to my samsung 32 inch lcd and my nes seems to be missing backround sprites for some games. It's really weird, here's a picture of megaman missing these patches of backround on the left.

I think the games may be dirty.

Copper polish is 10 times better than using alcohol. I simply get a q-tip, dip it in the polish, clean the connectors, then use a dry q-tip to dry off the connectors. Copper tarnishes over time and I don't think alcohol helps in that regard.

If that doesn't work, try a different a/v cable.

Cleaned it again with alcohol, no fix. Tried different av cables, that did't work either. Any other advice? Maybe someone knows someone who can modd my nes for s-video or something?

no way its going to be the cables or the composite jacks. the pins on the 72 pin connector may be loose and not properly contacting the carts pins. Other than this maybe some kind of frame buffering problem?

It's the tv, looks like it doesn't filter the games the way i thought it would. Guess ile play it on my crt standard.
