    Default Offline games with updates

Just how many console games got upates or patches before the internet ?

LMA Manager (Psone) got a roster update and Circuit Breakers (Psone) got additional tracks. Both of these were shipped in various demo discs.

DOA 3 had extra costumes on one of the earlier xbox magazine disks. Come to think of it, I think Xbox magazine had a bunch of add on content to games before xbox live came out.

Half-Life for the Playstation 2 had the unique Uplink demo from the PC accessible. Was included on a issue of the Official Playstation Magazine and was accessed through a ingame menu that then prompted you to insert the demo disc.

Is there any more information on the Circuit Breakers tracks? Such as how many there were and what demo disc have them? Did they install to the memory card (I doubt they were small enough), just unlock what was already on the game disc, or was it accessed in a similar manner to my Half-Life example?

    Thanks

If you look through the codes listing for old Gamesharks, you can see which games got a 1.1 release. The most I saw were on the N64.

It seems from the magazine that I have it lets you play the demo levels in the game, so I guess it just unlocks.

Here is the text blurb that went along with it.

The game is so addictive and fun that were sure you'll race out to get the full version, which if you do, you can add these stages to the list of available tracks through a special track update feature.
The demo is also in OAPSM issue 14 which seems to be demo 35 from the UK edtion.

Just in case anybody is interested in LMA manager it updates from August 1999 to 17-1-2000 and is found in the oapsm 34 demo disc.
