Target is now clearancing out their PS2's(similiar to what they did for the Gamecube several years ago). A week ago they were $89.98(even the Toy Story bundle) and today they were $69.98. So if you are one of the few people who doesn't have one already grab them while you can. However, if your store has ten or more than you could also wait for the inevitable price drop to $49.98.

Ditto, I've scored 1 decent deal on a ps2 game about a year ago, and everything else has always been shit, either they don't update there prices, or they do, and they got bought up asap.

Some decent stuff and some so-so stuff. Target is definitely in clearance mode for not only their special/limited editions but also for certain accessories. I saw a DSi on clearance last week but didn't add it because it was still $115 or so. I'm going to go back on Friday to see if it's been lowered yet.
Every Best Buy I go to has their clearance games in different locations. Some keep them on the shelves with all the regular games but some have dedicated sections just for them. It always helps to take a walk around just to see if they have any good deals. And Kmart has much more than what I listed but most are marked down to only $20 so I didn't list them.

I do like to watch this thread since I used to be a constant contributor, but for the last 6 months or so I haven't found any decent clearance deals at Target, Walmart, or Best Buy. Obviously this thread is the definition of YMMV, but may I go crazy looking at these finds and then going to my Target to find nothing on clearance...

Sly Cooper Collection - $14.98
Resistance 2 - $9.98
MAG - $14.98
Vanquish - $14.98 (360 and PS3)
There were a few other titles that I didn't really care about, so I don't remember the prices. Here are some of those games: Monopoly Streets (PS3), My Sims (Wii), some Wii shooting game.
Also worth mentioning is that my Target is subsisting Donkey Kong Country Returns for Kirby Epic Yarn as they ran out of them. This means you can get it for $20 if your Target is doing the same.
The only thing I picked up out of this was Sly Cooper for my brother. MAG and Donkey Kong Country Returns tempted me, but I can't justify them with my backlog being the way it is.

My Target(one of them) had Vanquish for the same price but I passed on it. They also had Resistance 2 but it was marked at $14.98. The only one they had that yours probably didn't was the Saints Row double pack(both games in one case) for 360 and it was marked down to $14.98. I'm going to hit a few more in the next couple of days so I'll do an update then.

I saw The Sly Collection for $19.98, as well as Split/Second and MAG at Target.
I spotted Power Gig: Rise of the Six String bundle packs (guitar/game) for $24.99 at Best Buy. That's not bad, even if the game is shit. An actually playable instrument for $25 is a good deal.

To the guys that frequently go to Wal-Mart and Target looking for games. Could you guys check the PC gaming area and see if anything is on closeout for a ridiculous price?
If you see any amazing deals that make you wish you had a gaming PC, then please post them, cause I'm not allergic to physical media, lol.
I don't post PC deals since I don't game on PC but Target in general gets several really good deals all the time because not very many people buy physical copies of PC games(atleast not at Target) anymore so they just sit on shelves until they get clearanced. An example I can give you is the Oblivion/Bioshock PC Double pack. That got clearanced all the way down to $7.48. And GTA: Episodes From Liberty City was $9.98.
PC versions of games usually get clearanced first and they also get additional price reductions faster than console games. Just try your local Targets and also Goodwill because thats where many games end up if they don't sell at their final clearance markdown.

Went to one and found the same thing, but they did have Drawn to Life Collection DS for $14.98. Regardless, got the Flingsmash bundle for $20 as it's on sale.

I went to my local target a couple months ago and saw two copies of Metroid Prime Trilogy for like $50.00 a piece. Bought one because I know it's been out of print since January 2010. I went back a month or so latter to find the other one still there for less than $30. Thought that was pretty sweet.
I always get to Target before Noon..
Yeah I can't believe Nintendo discontinued Metroid.

K-Mart has God of War 3, Heavy Rain, and Uncharted 2 for 19.99.
I also found a copy of Socom Confrontation bundled with a PS3 bluetooth headset for 19.97. The headset alone sells for $35-40 new online.
