Yeah, $70 msrp but most places sell them for $50-$60 I think. I rarely buy new dvd's anymore though. Maybe 2 or 3 a year. Everything else I get now is either on clearance or used from the pawn shop or flea markets for $5 each. Just seems crazy to spend $20 on a new release now.

Toys R Us now has a $9.98 and under bin in their electronics section. I saw lots of Wii shovelware, lots of DS games that no one wants and a pretty large selection of PS2 games. I picked up these:

    Endwar (PSP) $5.00
    Blokus (PSP) $5.00
    Spyborgs (Wii) $5.00
    Mountain Bike Adrenaline (PS2) $5.00

Had lots more but those were the only ones I found interesting.

Mine had a stack of Soul Bubbles (DS), which is an excellent title. I'm considering going back and picking up a few for potential stocking stuffers.

Turns out I already got Endwar PSP back from Target for about the same price so I have to go back and return it. I'll return it to a different TRU because the one I was at didn't have Soul Bubbles, so I'll see if I can find it.

    Thanks for the tip!

Returned Endwar to my other TRU this morning hoping to get a look at their bargain bin - and they don't have one. I guess this is a store-by-store basis. Too bad.

Some new price drops to add:

    Toys R Us

    Afro Samurai(PS3+360) $9.98
    Alone In The Dark(360) $9.98
    Smackdown Vs Raw 2009(Wii) $9.98
Redneck Jamboree(Wii) $9.98---I just wanted to type that title
    Art of Fighting Anthology(PS2) $5.00
    Street Fighter Anniversary Collection(PS2) $5.00

    Target

    360 Wired Controller $27.98
    Fight Night: Round 4(360) $19.98
    Guitar Hero: Metallica(PS2) $7.48
    Guitar Hero: Metallica(Wii) $19.98
Halo Wars/Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2/Star Wars: Republic Commando Strategy guides $4.98 each

It looks like Target is back to clearancing an abundance of games again, specifically trying to get rid of extra holiday stock. Toys R US has a clearance bin but the best deals can be found when you just look thru the 360 and PS3 sections. Best Buy hasn't had any worthwhile clearances as of late. As for Sears and Kmart, it all depends on which one is near you. They both still have lots of clearance games but nothing that hasn't already been mentioned or thats dropped in price for some time. I'll keep ya posted.

Was at TRU tonight. PS2 section is pretty small now, probably around 20-25 titles tops. Most of it was priced out at $9.99 - $19.99.

    I grabbed:

Pinball Hall of Fame - The Williams Collection
    - marked @ $9.99 rang up $5.00. They had STACKS of this game there.

    Fire Pro Wrestling Returns
    - last copy (that I saw) - again, marked $9.99 rang up at $5.00

    Motocross Mania 3
    - Lousy game I hear, but it was only $4.98.

They had other games marked at $9.99 and I'm sure they'll probably ring up at $5.00. Notable games at this price included:

    Neo Geo Battle Coliseum
    Art of Fighting Anthology
Fatal Fury Battle Archives vol. 1 & 2
    Sly Cooper 2 & 3

    YMMV

The only somewhat notable clearance game at the Target I checked out last night:

Need For Speed Nitro (DS) - $13.98

I would wait because it should be getting another drop soon, probably around $99. Also keep in mind that while there may only be one or two on the shelf, they have atleast 2-6 in the back for each system. Or atleast thats how my three local Targets are. But if you are really anxious than paying half retail($125) isn't such a bad idea either.

My local Target has the Beatles Rock Band box set for $125, as well as the Band Hero box set for $99 (both for Xbox). Nothing else of interest. The clearance selection went to about nothing in a few days.

CompUSA stores are now popping up thanks to being acquired by Tiger Direct; YMMV on this one:

Here in Houston, the new CompUSA store is selling brand new Microsoft brand 360 wireless controllers in Black for $37.99.

Like I said in my previous post: a new drop was about to happen. But even I couldn't have predicted how low it would be.

Beatles Rockband limited edition(PS3) $62.48--75% off normal retail

I was tempted to snag this just to sell it because I could without a doubt make atleast $30-40 selling it for $100 or more. But then theres the fact that the box is big as shit so that ups the shipping cost. Although I passed on it, I might ask next time I go if they have some 360 ones in the back because those will sell much better than the PS3 ones.

Again, I knew since xmas that these would be dropping in price as soon as the holidays were over. According to my contacts at Target, these bundles sold extremely poorly, even during the holidays. And the same thing is true with the Activision bundles(Guitar Hero, Band Hero, DJ Hero, etc). They are all on sale but none have hit as low as the Beatles bundles.

I grabbed this one too, as the Wii version is a lot of fun and I love classic Pinball! Are either the Fatal Fury or Art of Fighting collections worth picking up at this price? $5 seems pretty cheap...

Hmm. I'll have to go check to see if mine did as well.

My Target is getting really, really, REALLY, sparse again. Not sure if it's a cyclical thing or what, but they literally have like 10 games in their clearance area right now. Here's what I saw today:

    Skate II (PS3) $9.98
Guitar Hero Greatest Hits (PS3) $9.98
    Rock Band (PS2) $4.98
Guitar Hero III (PS2) (Gh packaging) $13.98
Also a couple of PC games, but didn't note titles or prices.

Nothing for 360, Wii, DS, or PSP.

The Target I went to last night only had a few budget PC games on clearance. Most of the local Targets don't even do a second round of price drops on clearance games anymore - whatever doesn't sell after a while just goes straight to Goodwill.

The clothing clearances were good for a while, but things are beginning to dry up there as the winter stuff is all but gone. I recently bought two pairs of Levis jeans for just over $11.

    Toys R Us

SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1(PS2) $5
    Art of Fighting Anthology(PS2) $5
Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 1(PS2) $5
Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2(PS2) $5

    Target

    Lego Rockband(360) $14.98
    Fight Night Round 4(360) $9.98
    Tom Clancy's Hawx(PS3) $9.98

It's been slim pickings the last two weeks. I'm hoping they start adding new stuff. But then again I've only been checking my three local Targets. I need to look at a few more that are alittle bit further away.

    TRU

    Spyborgs Wii (Capcom pub) $5

Looked like a lot of fun for a fiver.

Also had the Fatal Fury Volumes 1 & 2, Art of Fighting, Williams Pinball, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum PS2 all $5.
