At Target? Igot this a few months ago at this price and they also has the GH version of the first KH for the same price.

No KH 1 ony the 2nd. Not many PS3 or 360 games. Still had Afro Samuri for 39.98. The clearance section is not that good at my Target. Maybe because it opened about 11 months ago and doesnt have a lot of older inventory.

I wound up going to Target on Saturday. Here's what I spotted:

Wii:

Bangai-O Spirits - $14.99 (not on clearance, but I thought I'd include it in case anyone has been looking to pick it up at that price).

Unfortunately, none of the $13.98 PS2 games dropped in price, and the remaining GBA games are still $6.98.

In my experience sometimes when you take clearance items to a price scanner they will ring up lower than what they say. This is especially true when a copy of Speed Racer here is $9.98 but where you live it's still marked at $13.98 or $19.98. This isn't always the case but it never hurts to try

I just picked up dark sector for the xbox for 4.98 and they had some GBA games i passed on for 2.48 they were the board game classics, march of the peguins, and some other crap.

Sears had a bunch of PS3 games on sale starting at $9.99 and going to $19.99 but I'm sure your mileage will vary.

Lots and lots of PS2 games are being marked down under $7.98 - too many to list, plus I really don't collect for the PS2 very much.

Target had pretty much all their clearance PS2 titles priced from $2.48-19.98. I picked up Speed Racer for the third time because it was once again priced lower. The only true stand outs were:

Just saw LOTR - Conquest at Target today for $27.98 on clearance. Is it worth it? I love Battlefield style games but I've heard a lot of mixed things about this one.

Today at Target Wheelman(PS3) was marked down to $29.98. Considering this game just came out litereally one month ago(if that) I'd say it hasn't been selling well.

Wheelman's pretty fun if you like GTA style games. It is a bit short, but $30 for a new PS3 game is a good deal. I paid $35 for it and thought it was worth it.

The local Target's clearance section was a total mess, so I didn't look too deeply, but I did pick up a couple of PS2 games: WWE Smackdown 2008 ($4.98) and Harvey Birdman ($3.48).

I went back to Target yesterday and found:

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii) $4.98

I also went to Sears today for the first time in about 4 weeks and noticed that none of their clearance games are clearly marked as clearance games anymore. And the few that are, those prices are not even correct. I check about 15 games at the price checker and here's some of what I can remember:

Jumper (360) $19.99 (wtf?)
Turning Point Fall of Liberty (360) $14.97
Project Sylpheed Arc of Deception (360) $4.97
Bulletwitch (360) still $4.97
Folklore (PS3) $9.97

Lots of others, but I can't remember exactly. I scanned tons and only some came up with clearance prices, and most of those were $9.97 or $14.97.

All the PS2 and GBA stuff is still dirt cheap but theres a few PS2 titles that are still coming down in price. There hasn't been that many great deals on 360 games lately.

Slim pickin's right now at the clearance areas around here. Nothing to speak of, but honestly with the kids now home for summer, my trips to look for games are cut to just about zero. Good for saving money, bad for the collection...

I snatched the last GTA4:LaD and Afro Samurai. Afro might have went lower but GTA4:LaD probably wouldn't have. Fear 2 is the same price as last week but theres still two large piles of them. Prince of Persia will drop again next week so I'll pick it up then. As for Left 4 Dead, theres a new "game of the year edition" so thats why Target is clearancing out the regular edition. I'll probably pick it up next week if it hits $24.98. They won't be around long enough to get cheaper than that.

All in all it was a good day. The deals are finally starting to come back in force. And the summer time is typically when most retailers clearance out their overstocks from last years holiday season in preparation for the new holiday season. Times for buying games on the cheap(especially at Target, Toys of Us and Best Buy) are about to get a whole lot more interesting.

I went to a target today hoping to capitalize on that buy 2 get 1 free deal on ps2/ps3 games but ended up dissapointed. All the cheap games ($30 and below) were crap games like "friends" "trivial pursuit" and movie tie ins. Also a lot of the ps3 games I saw there were still full priced at $60 bucks when I have seen many of them for 30 bucks new online. So this deal isn't really a deal.

There were no Prince of Persia's left I seriously doubt they all sold for $14.98 last week. I'm going to be checking another Target tomorrow to find out for sure.
