Will they make this? Or is there a problem with licensing etc? I thought I remember GH shifting hands with different creators and what not.
I'd like a double pack. I think they should give it to me (us).

I don't know if I see that in the future. If anything, maybe some more downloadable tracks at least.
But there's got to be something holding them back or they'd have done it already. People would go apeshit for more Guitar Hero gameplay.
I'm sure the songs will be released, but it's going to be as DLC, since that's pretty much pure profit (ie, no manufacturing costs).
I don't know if this has anything to do with any sort of delay, but there's a lawsuit going on right now that was brought on by The Romantics, who are claiming that the cover version of "What I Like About You" sounds too close to the original version.
Does anybody know if Activision signed any type of "exclusivity" deal with Sony on that release?
Or, if the rights are held up with Harmonix since they did all the coding?
From what I understand, all of the songs on that release were done by Harmonix before they left to work with EA on Rock Band ... and it was suspposed to be a PS2 "expansion" disc requiring GHII and with a low MSRP...
...perhaps there's some type of red-tape preventing them from being ported to 360 for DL?
