Default Mattel Intellivision Question - PAL/NTSC

    Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of selling off all my Mattel Intellivision goodies as I've now played them to death and thought someone else might want to relive their retro gaming days.

However, because I'm located in Australia, I've had some questions from American and Canadian gamers as to whether my cartridges are compatible on their Intellivisions in NTSC.

If I sold my cartridges to another person overseas, it should work on their Intellivision console? (mainly USA) as I'm located in Australia.

Just to confirm, all my carts have the same part numbers as listed on the digital press rarity guide, so I'd imagine they should work all around the world (before other companies started restricting their carts to regions... Sega? Nintendo? I can't remember) I've done some searching but no luck so far =(

For example I have Shark Shark on ebay which is part 5787 on the box. The same game is listed exactly on the digital press rarity guide.

I don't know but I have a stack of useless (to me) UFC VHS tapes I bought in Australia. Hard lesson learned when I returned to the ship ready to watch a beat down. Wanna trade? Lol.

Intellivision carts will work worldwide without issues - I've ordered quite a few of my carts from down under.

, i've got heaps of tapes here i'm trying to get rid of. If you have a VHS that supports PAL playback on NTSC televisions (some of the later models allowed it) you can put those tapes back into action! =P
