I know that there are some lovers of the game, but I am not one of them. I thought the game was crap, and did nothing with the Shadowrun franschise. Whoever thought that paying for a Shadowrun liscense to do an average at best counterstrike rip-off did not spend a fraction of any time with the Shadowrun pen and paper game of the 90s. Good ridance to me, and it did NOTHING to promote VISTA and the 360 together. If the game they made was called "Space Elves", and added some tounge and cheek humor, then I would be less harsh. Instead, they took a hardcore franchise and shit all over its contents. They deserve to be canned.

So is this the end of FASA properties in video games? MS owns them, and if they are shut down does this mean we lose the chance of seeing a real Shadowrun rpg (not that one was ever announced)? Also, was Mechwarrior and Crimson Skies made by this studio since those are FASA games as well?
I actually enjoyed Shadowrun, Crimson Skies, and Mechassult so I'm sorry to see them go.

I saw this on Cag. I didn't know that thay were going down and am sad to see them go. I still don't understand why people hate it so much. I guess it's because I haven't played the original.
Oh wow they made all those games? They are very good at bringing out the bare minimal in gaming that's for sure. Tack on airplane (check), tack on robot (check), tack on elf with gun (check).
Sorry but to me all 3 of those games had a very tacky and "cash-in" kind of feel. Sure they were "decent" but had a very minimalist feel to them. I don't feel they were offering anything to gaming from an innovative or even worthwhile standpoint.
Another shovelware company bites the dust, oh noes, I won't lose sleep. This seems like a good idea to me, and seems to show me that Microsoft might actually be starting to give a damn.
