I'd trade with you, but my trade pile tends to be pretty poor on account of being selective with what I buy in the first place.

Know if any EBs in the Pavilion or Carolina Place malls still sell NES carts? I remember getting a couple Camerica games for 2 bucks a piece there.. I think one of them has since been replaced with some crap store that only sells the new mess.

I dunno. I've found a couple of loose Genesis carts for 1.99 there, Vectorman, Cyborg Justice, etc, so it wasn't so bad. That was months since I last went in there though. My current trades/wants page is in my sig.

Default Just giving an NC Shout Out

    Hey all!

I am from Concord, but I live in Chapel Hill now. I have been on the hunt in the Charlotte area off and on for the last two years. As far as trades go, my trade pile isn't very large right now but I do have some stuff. In terms of places to look for cheap games. Have you been to the flea market outside of Concord off the Web Rd exit of Interstate 85? There is also a flea market near the nc/sc border close to carowinds. There is also a fleamarket outside of Gastonia/Mt. Holly. However the game guy there has suck prices. The Funcoland at the Arboretum in Charlotte used to have some stuff but now it sucks. I think the Funcoland in Gastonia still has a decent selection of nes and genesis games. Your best bet is to go hunt down some yard sales during the coming weekends when the weather is good. The main thing with the Charlotte area in terms of collecting is to keep hunting, it may take you a long time but you can eventually find it. Drop me a line if you have any questions or are interested in discussing trades. Any other NC collectors out there, give a shout out!!

    Take care all!

I've been to the Funcoland in Gastonia, was surprised they hadn't changed the name yet. They did have an entire booth devoted to NES carts last time I was there, but they do crazy stuff like slap giant price stickers right on top of the labels, and charge 7 dollars for a copy of Rygar. Better than going to ebay I guess.

    Default Web rd Flea Market

Yeah the webb rd Flea is ok, I think there is still some lady there who has a booth devoted to games, but her prices suck. I tend to check out the people who come for just a saturday and set up shop on the open tables towards the rear of the flea market. Never know what you will find unless you hunt. I have done ok at that one I found some kid selling nes games, picked up a kirby's adventure, castlevania three and tom and jerry game for 3 bucks a pop. I have been collecting nes for awhile, I try to hold to $3 a piece at most for loose carts, I have broken that rule a few times but on the whole I have stayed to it, does that sound reasonable or should I raise my max price?
