Default Gamecube NCAA Basketball Questions looking for answers

I was wondering if anyone could determine the true rarity level of NCAA Basketball for the GC.

Approx # of copies in circulation ?

How long was it actually on the store shelves?

Being that it is a sport title will it lose value , or will the limited supply make the value go up in time?

If you owned a copy would you sell it or keep it?
Check out my youtube channel for various video game related videos.

Depending on a definitive answer to the print run, I suspect that it will remain highly sought after by completists. I can't imagine that it will go for much more than the somewhat ridiculous prices it's currently going for on ePay though. Only time will tell...

    I'd definitely keep it.
Selling collection, Atari through XBox. Send a PM with whatever games you're looking for.

Some say 5,000, but I would say at least 10,000. It was carried at EB and Gamestops nation wide, and most of the time those stores don't stock less then three copies of each game. So I say 10,000 until I see evidence that points to the contrary.

It was released December 12th, 2003 even though many news sites reported it was cancelled. There has been no confrimation that it was recalled. It's been earning $80+ a copy since at least Febuary.

Anyone who says sports games aren't worth anything in the long term, I've got two words for you: Stadium Events. Once a game starts making money on Ebay, it rarely dips. So I would say I only see it's value going up.

I own it, and I'm keeping it. Ten years from now I see this game being the system's holy grail. It's a wise investment to hold onto it, especially if your goal is to own every game for the system. I don't see any game on the market right now pulling in more money then it anytime soon, aside from the Kiosk discs.
