Like everyone else, I have been an avid video gamer my entire life.

My Atari 2600 is my most prized possession. Years before I found DP I read about Ben Heckerdorn. He mangled a 2600 to produce a hand held version of the system. Now I'm not that brave but I did modify my Atari for composite video using his notes. Now I have a crystal clear picture.

Since then I have watched Ben's projects grow over the years until he created a 2600/PS2 hybrid, 2 different systems in one shell. Now he only made one of them and said he sold it to a private collector. Oh I'd love to see that piece of art!

I was hanging out in DP HQ. Joe keeps a small museum behind plate glass for display. In that cabinet is the 2600/PS2 hybrid. I heard the angels sing "AHHHHH" as if I was blessed by the Lord.

Here was this masterpiece created from someone who I admire in the collection of a good friend. It was a religious videogame experience.
