Default HELP! What is this odd Nintendo Arcade Cabinet

Can someone help me identify this arcade cabinet. It's being sold in my area for $750. The price is obviously quite high but I'm still intrigued as I've never seen anything like it. It's not a playchoice 10 or anything like that ???

    Thanks in advance

I've never seen a cabinet like that, but I do know that my Zaxxon cabinet has the dual coin slots, and the same style of cion door, more or less. I would start with that as a guess that maybe it's some kind of old Sega cab converted to something else? Sorry I can't be of more help, maybe someone else could step in?

Ya, I was thinking it could be some sorta home built cabinet.

The marquee says "Nintendo Video Challenge"

The description says that it's able to play any NES game.

It looks like some sort of Video Poker-type machine that's been refitted with Playchoice10 innards. Those buttons don't look like normal JAMMA controls. What does it say in the lower red-colored section of the bezel? I'll bet that big "NINTENDO" was painted on after the fact.

I seriously doubt that thing is all original Nintendo arcade equipment.

Hey! Your right! WTF is that all about? Hmmm if its not homebuilt it would be interesting to learn its history.

The fact that the word "Nintendo" is misspelled would lead me to believe it's a homemade deal. Like someone else said I suspect whatever's written in red where it says "Player 1" and "Player 2" would identify what it used to be. A couple of people said poker machine but it reminds me of some of the old trivia games I used to see in bars around here.

What game is it playing? That would narrow it down as to whether it's a playchoice 10 or not. Ask the guy how you switch games, that will tell you for sure. If he opens up the back and there's an NES inside, that would point to a homemade job ...

That is not a Nintendo cabinet.

It looks like someone converted a video poker machine into that.... thing.
