Watanabe will continue as representative director until the next shareholder meeting in August. Following his departure, CEO Ito Masahito will become the only remaining representative director.

At the same time, the latest Famitsu magazine (reported by Andriasang) lists two Vita games by the publisher as canceled. One of the games is a Vita release of its casual/social castle building game Shirotsuku; the other is an unspecified shooter.

If you're feeling worried about the seemingly vulnerable company, now might be a good time to remind you that Akai Katana Shin, the company's latest Xbox 360 shooter, is out in North America this week.Cave Vita games reportedly canceled as COO resigns originally appeared on Joystiq on Wed, 16 May 2012 12:00:00 EST.

So I finally attained my copy of Diablo 3 last night after work at about 8:00 arrived home at 9:00 installed everything at about 10:00. I was planning to stay up a little later than normal till about 12:30 so I could get in a few hours of play and get past the beta stages that I’ve played a thousand times, yea that was the plan! After about 30 minutes what should happen? A sever crash that’s what, ETA till fixed 2:00 to 3:00am where I’m at. Lovely, if I was in school still this wouldn’t be that big of a problem I would have just stayed up and not gone in today but a career is a bit different from school I’m not giving up a sick day for a game! So here I am at work about to start my ten hour shift hoping that the few hours I’ll have after work I’ll actually be able to play this game.

You would think after all the years of WOW Blizzard would know how to maintain a server. Not to mention the what, 9 months of beta testing!?

How do you guys feel about the “w/hole experience” so far?

Vigile writes "NVIDIA today announced a new technology partnership with Gaikai, an on-demand gaming company that competes with OnLive, to bring GeForce GRID to the cloud gaming ecosystem. GRID aims to increase both the visual quality and user experience of cloud gaming by decreasing latencies involved in the process — the biggest hindrance to acceptance for consumers. NVIDIA claims to have decreased the time for game stream capture and decode by a factor of three by handling the process completely on the GPU, while also decreasing the 'game time' with the power of the Kepler GPU. NVIDIA hopes to help both gamers and cloud streaming companies by offering 4x the density currently available and at just 75 watts per game stream. The question remains — will mainstream users adopt the on-demand games market as they have the on-demand video market?"

First of all I have disabled the 10nes, cleaned, refurbished the 72 pin and have a GG to play games through to cure some boot issues. All test were with/without the GG.

I have 4 carts that are dead that I got off the bay.

1) Contra - will not boot up at all. Game has been cleaned with 70%/q-tip, Brasso. I did one at a time not together. The PCB part doesnt appear to have any loose connections but the connectors are worn.

2) Castlevania - The PCB is mint as well as the connectors......Looks like it has never been played. Its been cleaned as well even though it didnt look like it needed it. Im clueless on this one.

The rest I dont care about. What causes a Game Cart to die? I think I would at least get some glitchy graphics but I just get a gray screen. What can I do with dead carts?

Hey everyone! Hopefully I'm posting this in the right forum. If not, feel free to move it to whereever it belongs :) I wanted to share my work with all you Zelda geeks out there. Last summer I spent about 4 months and lots of money making a Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past board game. I had so much fun making it and me and some buddies play it occasionally. I just wanted to get your opinions on it. I based it off an old board game called Key to the Kingdom. I designed the board in photoshop, copying and pasting carefully all the SNES sprites from the game. and then I printed the sheets and put them on poster board. Of course this is more of a prototype but its still fun to play. I made the treasures, equipment and monster cards and got them laminated to have a glossy look. The link pieces were made from someone i found on etsy.com.

The pics are of the Link playing pieces, the light world side of the board and then it opens up into the darkworld side just like key to the kingdom did. The item and moster cards plus the equipment sheets.

Much to my surprise there were a couple of articles written about it on Zelda Dungeon and Zelda Universe which was very nice!

If you want to see more pics and info, go to my boardgamegeek site
http://boardgamegeek.com/article/8995907#8995907

here's my tutorial on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxQzrvrb6Ys

Let me know if anyone in NJ wants to get together and play this. And I'd be more than happy to bring it to the store to show as well :)

In this episode, you play out a battle between Lightning and Caius, and get the opportunity to unlock Lightning for use in the main game ... which Square recommends you finish before playing the DLC. It's a bit of a catch-22. Also out today is "Snow's Story: Perpetual Battlefield," a Coliseum battle with Snow that also unlocks him.

These two episodes mark the end of Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC, but Square is ending on a high note by releasing them alongside a set of 16 new costumes for Mog.Lightning's story finally hits Final Fantasy XIII-2 originally appeared on Joystiq on Tue, 15 May 2012 12:00:00 EST.

Do any of you guys here stack your consoles on top of each other to save space? Is it typically safe to do so?
I'm trying to hook up my Wii, Gamecube (for the GB player and GC imports), and N64, and I am literally an inch short on space. I was going to lay the Wii on its side and put the GC on top of it (since I won't need the GC ports on the Wii anyway), with the N64 next to them.
Would this be a safe idea, or would that be bad for the Wii to have the GC on top?

So..I recently attempted to play through Dark Castle on my Genesis in order to write up a review on my blog...needless to say after 5 minutes of playing the game....its all the time I needed to write up my review. This game is so terrible, I will never ever burden my Genesis again with its presence. Then I thought of other games so terrible I couldn't finish...So I was wondering...what games were so bad you guys couldn't finish?
