I know this was mentioned in some previous posts that The Dark Spire for DS is $4.99 at Gamestop. I wound up getting a copy at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison NJ on Friday night. Great part about it is that it was a new copy. I brought the shelf copy to the desk and he pulls out a brand new one from the drawer. It comes with the Music CD and Box and was still shrink wrapped from the factory.
I figured it was a good deal. I heard some good things about the game as well.
Thought I would throw that out there so if you want to pick this game up for cheap I would try the stores as the website doesn't have it in stock.

I saw it several weeks back. I've been somewhat interested in it for a while. How is it?

It's awesome! If you were fan of the early RPG's like Wizardry you will really like it. Although it is a very difficult game.

Also, if you liked Etrian Odyssey or it's sequel you should like Dark Spire.
I haven't played it though, been waiting for the right price. $5 is good but no GameStop near me has it. Fry's has it for $2.99 but those stores aren't in every state.

the game feels like a distant Wizardry relative, with comic book art. You can opt to turn it into 8bit mode and it feels like an early DOS/NES/whatever RPG
My friends who dont like old, hard RPGs all hate the game. :):texaschain:

I'll buy you a copy if you change that horrible avatar. It gives me the creeps. j/k...
