Quite literally, this is the greatest Lego thing there is. I've managed to make a tank, and I'm even doing a SMS Sonic sprite in Lego (All it needs is the head and microphone- it's the credits sprite), so anybody here ever actually used it, made something and then ordered it?

I messed around with some of the earlier Lego CAD tools, particularly MLCAD and LeoCAD. I tried the official Lego Designer, but it didn't feel as intuitive, and you're limited to certain pieces. Still, the idea of building something in the program, ordering it, and building it again is great, so I'm sure that I'll give it another try sometime soon.
I'm strongly considering a Mega Man sprite to hang in my car, so this might be a good place to start.

I made Mario, Pac Man, and the Sonic standee needs work. I also like the iew mode- unleash your anger on little figures by blowing 'em up! :p

Digital Designer is good if you are just starting out with creating virtual creations and/or you want the ability to order the actual parts. I mainly use MLCad, you can download practically any Lego piece ever created and there are more advanced features that DD doesn't have.
