Price changes came in today that should perk up anyone who got into Guitar Hero too late in the game.

As of this morning, Guitar Hero II + III's *NEW* individual prices are $9.99 each.
GH Aerosmith is $9.99 with free $40 Explorer Guitar courtesy of the Game Day sale.

That means you can snag three GH games + a Guitar, all new, for $30+ tax.

Also, the Wii Double Pack (2 Guitars, World Tour and III) us now $99.

Good times to be a guitar player. ^_^

Nope. Just 360 (so far as the free Guitar).

Considering how many $40 guitars and copies of Aerosmith that have passed through just my hands alone, I"m assuming that GS just ordered way too many of them and was simply clearing out the warehouse.

The "Free Guitar" with purchase was and is an in-store special. It goes like this:
You buy one of the following -

Guitar Hero Aerosmith (Game Only) or
Guitar Hero Aerosmith (Activision Bundle) or
Guitar Hero World Tour Complete Band kit...

You get a FREE NEW 360 Xplorer Guitar (the original GHII wired one).

Guitar Hero Aerosmith (Game only) is currently part of the Game Days Sale, marked down to $9.99. GameStop has stacked the Game Day sale with the current Free guitar offer.

When you ring up $30 GS: A game only and the $40 guitar, GH:A becomes 9.98 and the the Guitar a 0.01 = $9.99 plus tax.

Nope. Guitar Hero II and III (game only) editions are still NEW for $9.99 each. The used games were not affected as Game Stop / Activision is just trying to get rid of old new stock. It's the same case in how the used version of the game day sale games aren't lowered. The prices will eventually go back up, so grab them while you can.

All of this is based on 360 versions of the games / guitar. No other system is affected.

That is weak sauce. I got gh aerosmith during game days, got all excited, and that night bought 2 and 3 from gs from 17 a piece. Stupid deals
