Okay guys and gals what is the one game for whatever system, do you always win at no matter what?
You know the game that you always beat your friends at no matter how much they practice at home, the game you send them home crying about for weeks.
mine would have to be mario cart for the N-64. My only pitfall is I have to be Yoshi to win, but no matter what level I play I win about 98.99% of the time.

I used to be RIDICULOUSLY good at N64 Super Smash Bros. I was to the point where I could take on veteran players and defeat them without ever taking a hit. Unfortunately, when Melee came out, I played a lot more of that. It playes just similarly and differently enough to throw off my rhythm. Now I've lost most of my Smash Bros. skill, and I'm pretty good at Melee, but nowhere NEAR where I used to be with the original.
Also, I'm pretty damn good at DDR.

No one I know can beat me at Smash Bros for either N64 or Gamecube. I think I've lost twice...once was when someone got real lucky and the other was when my three friends ganged up on me...and they still only beat me with one life left. There's a couple of other games I'm really good at but not like this.
Edit: oh, how could I forget...I'll destroy anyone in Tony Hawk 1 and 2. I can't remember my high scores off the top of my head, but they're way up there. It got to the point where I could do it with my eyes closed.

Halo...But that just because my friends just suck..
Gran Turismo 3..I'm really good at it..and other racing games...
but my friends suck at racing games too...
Steel Battalion..I have that controller mastered and i'm pretty good at the game...
Otherwise..Basically every game that I play with my friends,I can beat them at..
I'm not a great gamer..I just need new friends.. x_x

I'm relatively good at Robotron (high score over a million. avg. about 500k). And moderately good at Defender (avg. score 30-60k). Those are far from blockbuster high scores I know, but they're better than your average everyday player. :)
However, I AM good at Space Invaders. I have been since I was about 10. Matter of fact I figured out myself the trick to getting an extra man by shooting the invaders in 55 shots or less (or by rolling over the shot counter) in SI part 2/Deluxe. As far as I knew I was the only one who knew that trick (or even cared) until I "broke the story" on the net about 2 or 3 years ago and now it's in all the standard S.I. easter egg docs. 8-) I can't remember my high score but when I was a kid I could pretty much play indefinitely if I wanted with my high being around 120k (flipped the score over 10x). On Space Invaders Deluxe/Part 2.. I'm not as good however :embarrassed:
I'm also pretty good at Donkey Kong and Zookeeper.
Oh and I kill at Street Fighter 2 using E. Honda. But the problem with SF2 is that everyone and their brother thinks their good (and they're usually right). Since everyone has mastered the game to a certain point the only way to tell is to FIGHT :D

NES World Class Soccer (eh lol is this the name? i'm never able to remember it's true name, ya know, the one from nintendo), i think i won 99% of my games against cameroon with 50-0 or higher
Super Off-Road NES/SNES, noone could beat me there, finished it several times without any problems, just needs some time :)

Without a doubt, my game is Half Life for the PC. I play mostly Day of Defeat these days, but I'm by far the best at the unmodded game. I'm generally "good" at FPS's, nothing more, usually able to finish top or at least up there in random internet games, but for some reason with classic Half Life specifically, I can usually completely shred, doubling the next highest score in random people games (...Except of course when the horrible annoyance of cheaters raises it's ugly head), or at least making it to the finals in tournements at various Cons and festivals.

I used to be a master in Need for Speed 3 for the psx, but over time I lost some of my skills.
I'm also rather good at tetris dx for the gbc. My highest score is 2.5 million.
Or maybe that's not good, I don't have much to compare it to.

Im insanely good at Goldeneye for N64. No one can beat me unless the double or triple team me. It was great because i memorized the cycle where everyone would appear when they died, same with all the diff. weapons with all the levels
No Mercy for the N64 is another game that i mastered. Me and my best friend both created wrestlers that we can win any match in under 45 seconds. Man i love those games.

Bump N Jump, the arcade game. Let's face it, as a videogamer, I'm pretty mediocre, and was even before my reflexes started slowing down. But I got good at Bump N Jump. It's the only arcade game I've ever rolled, and I've done it a few times. If I'd had more consistent practice & study, I might possibly have had a shot at the record (there's not much at Twin Galaxies, but I could easily grab 4th place I think -- the only trick is that I usually play with free cars granted, so I'd still have to have a lucky game; the top 3 are WAY up there, so I don't think I could beat them anymore).
Of course, the game is 20 years old, and I STILL can't entirely figure out the AI in this game... I can't help but wonder how Billy Mitchell would do at it...

Most of the DDR freaks I know are better than me, but that's OK because I slaughter all of them at Beatmania IIDX, Guitar Freaks, Pop'n Music, and Drummania. LOL
And I've beaten every boxer in Super Punch-Out in 24.01 seconds or less.

Anyone remember Space Panic for the Coleco Vision? I used to tear up that game at a very young age. I'd purposely let aliens get out of their holes so they'd transform into harder aliens, then drop them on top of each other for major bonus points...
Usually when I start a game of Contra, I'll use the 30-life Konami Code. I don't know why, because when the game is done, I end up with 40 lives. LOL
While we're on old Konami NES games, I've beaten Life Force without dying - even through the ending corridor with the fast scroll and protruding beams.
And, just because I'm reminded of it, I've looped the score counter on Space Fury for the Coleco on many occasions.

NBA Jam on Genesis, my record is something like [350-0] on the score screen
Quake 3(1v1 dm, osp ctf, ctfs, ra) - quit because I played it way too much in a good 3 year span ;/
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, as Scorpion...PS2
Although you can't really master Sonic 2 on the Genesis, I feel I played it way too much, and finished it many times.
Gameday 2000...PSX
1080 Snowboarding...N64, my times aren't the greatest, but they're pretty good
Completely mastered Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell... Xbox version of course. I think I know more about this game than anyone could dream of.
I wrote a one kill FAQ too :p

Now that I think about it, there was an old PC tank game called "scorched earth". In middle school I was fucking awesome at that game. And it was a great game. It was all on the same screen, and the object was to blow up the other tanks (duh). YOu had a war fund and could by weapons, or fuel to move or sheilds and the like. You could by a digger missle and dig the ground out from unger the person and let them fall to death. Its alot like Worms, but I just don't get the same enjoyment from Worms as I did Scorch.
If anyone has seen this game or has one on their computer, please let me know, I really want a copy of it.

I am a sort of gaming wizard when it comes to Star Fox 64. I have beaten people with such huge handicaps on that it's just not even fun anymore. I also really good at Kirby's Adventure for the NES. I know it's an easy game, but all of the miin-games and extras keep me getting better and better! :-D

Definently Soul Calibur for DC. My brother is the only person who has EVER beaten me at that game. I'd say me and him are pretty equal at it, but nobody else ever seems to come close no matter how good they say they are at it :)
I also used to play my friend in Virtua Tennis and i used to get him angry to the point where he would throw the controller down and just quit playing.

I used to really excel at Castlevania; I'd routinely beat it without taking 1 hit. Ditto Ninja Gaiden. But I've let my skills lapse.... It's the same with Robotron, where I could top 1 million most games, and Defender, where I could reach 100K more often than not. Now I'm sure I couldn't do half as well.
I also used to be fantastic at Tetris. I remember wowing my friends by keeping the playfield mostly brick-free at the "zero reaction time" later levels. Ahh, memories. :)

First and foremost, a message to a fellow Scorched Earth fan! (I thought me, my brother and a couple of close friends were the only ones...) I have the original DOS version on my PC, "SCORCH.EXE". It doesn't work in a shell window, though, which is annoying. However, it works. Drop me a PM and I'll see if I can't send it to you. :)
Anyhoo, I'd have to say I'm pretty damn good at the old side-scroller Sonic games. Not in terms of rings, scoring or Chaos Emerald collection, but just in sheer speed. I'm pretty much able to beat Sonic 1 and 2 in about 45 minutes apiece, using maybe one continue. I don't know that anyone's ever kept track of completion times for Sonic, but given the theme of the series (he's a 760mph Hedgehog, for God's sake) I think it's worth cataloging.
Which makes me think -- there ought to be a standardized Video Game Aptitude Test of some sort. After all, most of us have played the "standards" -- Street Fighter II, Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Gran Turismo, etc. Someone needs to put together a "quiz" to test people's skills in these important gaming milestones. Anyone agree?

Some years ago I was unbeatable on Street Fighter 2 for SNES.
Beating everyone with just one hand, finishing without losing any round with all fighters...
Good old days....
I tend to have a knack for owning all my friends in Tetris/Puzzle Bobble/Puyo Puyo and any of those type of puzzle games. Back in the day, I used to own at Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat 2. Used to play for hours at the arcade and very rarily lose. I was pretty good at SF2 back then, too. I remember I kept beating my friends and the one got so frustrated that he threw his controller at me and kicked me out of his house. Haha... good times, good times.

No way , beating Ninja Gaiden without taking a hit is impossible. I want to see this.
Anyways , I used to be pretty good at Tony Hawk 2 , and Tony Hawk 3 . My high score in THPS2 is over a million for one trick , and in THPS3 I got over 25 million for 1 trick .
I can also beat contra without dying sometimes , and most of the time I only die about 1 or 2 times. Same with Super C. I also beat Super Mario Bros 3 in around 13:30 , without taking a hit.

For me it's RPG's the most.
Not only do I blaze through them at ridiculously low levels, I can't help but be so stingy with recovery items that I save them until the very last boss in a game, thinking that they're too valuable.
But I'm usually so conservative that I don't even end up using them at the end anyways.
I can't help it, it's obsessive complusion.
I now try to make a concious effort to remember to use stuff, most recently with Castlevania Aria Of Sorrrow on Hard Mode(I actual use regular potions now).

I am a manster at Star Fox 64, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Vault Assault. I'm also pretty damn good at Halo, having wasted the game on Legendary and doing damn well in multiplayer.
Bleh only game I was very very very competitive in was Unreal Tournament. I wasnt a DM'er for the fact that they played a camp the weapon game, but in CTF 1v1 or normal team matches, I would kick ass. Other than that, I was good at MK II and got good enough that I used to know all the fatalities for all the players. Now if I was to play mk II Ide suck!

I really wish i could play street fighter 2 turbo online and show some of you fools whats up. When it comes to street fighter 2 turbo i have it down to a science.
I am still pretty good at a lot of games. I still am an authority when it comes to Shinobi 3 for genesis. Mega game! I also used to be really good at Virtua Fighter 2 and 3. I played a local VF2 champ back when I was in high school. He thought I put a cheat code in or something b/c I totally kicked his ass every time!
I was really good at the Mortal Kombat series too. I remember the weekend MK3 came out I kept beating this bigger older fella. He actually threatened me. I remember what he said "Do that again and I will kick your ass." It reminded me of Star Wars, "Let the wookie win." So I let that bastard win! I still have all my teeth! Yes!

Anyway:
My cousin use to be ridiculously good at gameboy tetris. i once seen him get 242 lines. he always started on level 9. the most i ever got was somewhere around 190. so i guess i am just a slightly above average tetris player. 242, I remember that well, that was just nuts.

I am very, very good at Unreal Tournament, including 2004.
Specifically at Zark Rifle and Binslayers. If anyone on here plays clan UT, I was {NYA}Bearmaster. I've since shed the clan tag, and just play 2k4 low grav Zark as Bearmaster or Eru.
I'm wicked good at Starfox 64 deathmatch too, for some strange reason. I just never lose.
I also pwn all in DOA2: Hardcore. Oddly, I suck at DOA3, I just can't play fighters with the Xbox pad for whatever reason.
I'm also pretty good at Gran Turismo, specifically with the wheel. Ever seen someone drift a stock Aston Martin Vanquish? 4000lbs? Oh yeah.
On the other hand, I really suck at a lot of stuff too. I JUST beat the original Super Mario Bros. for the first time ever like a month ago, and not from lack of trying, lol.

I'm also very good at Goldeneye for the N64 as well, the only person I have ever lost too is this guy that I know. We are equally as good, so sometimes I win, and sometimes I loose.
But, my best talent is in Super Mario Bros. for the NES. I can beat the game in 5:17 ( curse the man who got 5:10  ).

I would have to say my #1 best game is Starcraft. Every LAN party I host we play a few games of it lasting hours (Thanks to the UMS portion of the game). I have to struggle to talk everyone into playing 7 vs 1 where I'm solo with or without rules to rushing or limits to what units may be used. No matter how they try or how many games we've played everyone cries about me being master of Starcraft out of most the people we know. Back in highschool in electronics class, I'd go under random nicknames on their IPX games as to not give my identity away. Even the freshmen and juniors that claimed to be masters at the game would crumble at my awesome power. On Battle.Net my record is almost at 2000 wins, under 100 losses, and 90 something disconnects. Most of my games were playing in highschool before so many map hacks and exploits were widely used, such as the stack. Of course I managed to strike back and win against most, but when it became 3+ users back stabbing with the hacks it was too nuts for me to play much more of melee matches.
My second top game would be Time Splitters 2 for the Gamecube. Last year after more of my friends finally got their own copies, we started creating our own levels and would host shoot-em parties to try out one anothers new levels and see who can frag the most in each. Of course I kicked the most ass but my friend Chris came in near second place (He's a Halo guy). Although I haven't beaten all the scenarios or campaigns I run some good stats on my profile (Don't have them infront of me right now). I generally play it all hardest comps vs. me and come out on top with nearly all weapon sets. It's one of my favorite shooters [Close behind are Serious Sam (GC), Quake 2 (N64), and Doom (N64)]. Now, I'm not the best FPS by any means, but against my friends I rule in certain titles (somehow).

Back in '99-'00, I was pretty darn good at Pocket Fighter for the Saturn.
A girl I met who was a friend of a friend declared herself the "Queen of Pocket Fighter"; virtually no one could defeat her. She would even talk smack about it. So I challenged her to a few games.
Yeah. I beat her. Pretty badly. Even when she used "her character". I would even pick random characters every time.
It finally got to the point that while we were playing she put the controller down and stated: "I don't wanna play anymore. I'm getting beat at MY game!"
Suffice to say, that was the last time she would play me on Pocket Fighter.
I know, she sounds like a bitch in this story, but she was actually a really nice, sweet person. LOL

I've honestly done it with no game genie whatsoever. With Rick Bruiser all you have to do is faze him once and when he casually walks back to fight, hit him with a super puch and it's over! Timing is everything though, and every punch he tries to throw has to be countered.

There was a while where I believed that you had to die to beat that one level in MM2. But it's possible if you skip a few walls, and use an item to get to some platforms. However, I like to have 2 Crash Bomb shots available to me for one of the Dr. Wily battles.
MM3 - definitely possible. I'm sure I've done it, or at least come close.
MM4 - This is probably the easiest of the bunch to defeat without dying.
MM5 - My brother's beaten this one without dying
MM1 - I'd say the hardest of the bunch, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible.
MM6 - This is the one I've played the least, and only a handful of times at that.
In all, it's completely possible to finish all without dying.

Super Mario World, SNES. Not like I can win the game one one life or anything, but I can play from the beginning, and end up thrashing the game with like 50 or 60 lives left over. I never timed it or anything, but I do have some skills at that game.
Arcade-wise, I'd have to say Double Dragon. I can pop a quarter, play through/beat the game in 15 or so minutes, and if even ONE guy lives (even the henchmen that run away at the end after Machine-Gun Willie goes down), then the game is worthless (at least to me). Also, in 2 player mode, I ALWAYS get the girl. (When you do the 1p vs. 2p fight)
There may be a couple more, just not thinking of them right now though.

I rarely had friends, so I rarely played games with friends. However, in the arcade, I absolutely dominated EVERYONE in X-Men Vs Street Fighter. I sent away scores of challengers with broken hopes. Of course, then it came out for home consoles, I stopped going to the arcade, and when I came back I had lost my edge. Oh well.
I also used to crush everyone in Jackie Chan and Fighter's History. My Ray in Fighter's History could beat anyone...to this day, I'm undefeated in that game. Almost everyone would fall victim to my quick punch -> "Dynamite!" combo. And if that wasn't enough, my overuse of short "Wheel Kick!" would put the rest down in short order. Good times. :D

When 'Crazy Taxi' came out for the DC, I spent a good 6 months playing that game on a daily basis. I could play the Arcade mode nonstop for about 2 hours a pop... might not sound like much, but for those of you who have played this game and know how stingy it is with giving out time bonuses, well you'll understand.
Think of it like this; I go into an arcade, put 75 cents or whatever into a Crazy Taxi machine and then proceed to sit there and play for around 2 hours.

The only game I really ever was better than anyone else I ever played or saw play was Bushido Blade. We used to play winner stays on that game in college. Each match is usually pretty short so that was a cool way to play with a group, because no one ever had to wait very long. I think I went over 50 matches in a row once, and in a fighting game where most matches end with one hit, that's saying something.

In UT I mostly played CTF and my clan constantly stomped ass in clan matches. In U2 we were pretty close with another clan but when our big match came around we shut them out. I just got UT3 about a month ago and I'm almost always on top of the scoreboard when the match ends. All of my online friends play on 360 though, so at the moment I'm just using the ps3 version to learn the maps and item placement until UT3 comes out on the 360. This time around, however, I'm mostly playing team deathmatch.
For the record, the best weapon in any FPS ever is the flak cannon.

I got REALLY good at Tempest 2000 on the Saturn. The only thing I couldnt do is the third bonus level. Other than that it was pretty impossible for me to die. I'd finally get bored and turn the game off.

Ah, reminds me- I was pretty hot at Gauntlet 2 on the Gameboy as well. :) Could happily knock off 90 levels in one sitting without coming even close to death, the only one that flummoxed me was one with a load of teleporters that worked seemingly at random, and the exit had a dragon right next to it. Otherwise, I rocked.

Megaman 2. I know that game like the back of my hand and can run it perfectly in my sleep. I speed run the game for kicks just because I can. I've gathered a small crowd owning that game before.
Loves me some blue bomber :D

i would have to say madden 2005. I still will dominate pretty much anyone but i am not the master of the qb vision thing, i think that started in 2006.
Also halo 3. I am pretty sick. Halo 2 i was even better.
and mario for the original gameboy and sonic 2 for genesis.
Those are the ones i pizzown on.

For me it would be Starcraft and Battlefield 2, as far as mulitplayer games are concerned.
I rarely am below top 3 on any 64 maps on BF2, and most of the time I finish first. And for Starcraft... well I have been playing for almost 10 years now so... bring it on =)
As for single player games... not sure... I am pretty good at 2D and 3D Mario and Zelda... Metroid... All Shmups (I like bullet hell type). I am pretty good at Forza and Gran Turismo too.
I really am bad when it comes to fighting games (except maybe Street Fighter 2)

All of the NES Mega Man games are not only my favorite games of all time, I also kick ass at them like there's no tomorrow. I've probably beaten Mega Man 2 around 100 times, and I ca blaze through that game without dying, using energy tanks, or using special weapons on the robot masters..on Difficult mode :3

I am undefeated at Warlords for the Atari 2600. I've lost a game or two but I have never lost a match. Always got my 5 wins first.

I honed my amazing skill at Warbirds for the Lynx while playing multiplayer with a co-worker who was an out of work cargo pilot. We'd blast the hell out of each other, but I always defeated him handily.
Midnight Mutants on the 7800 is another one I'm good at. I've managed to go into the caves through the cabin's fireplace (using my hand drawn maps, of course) and bypassing the skull boss and ending up with the Super Blaster. Cut the game time down by at least a third.

I was decent at the Arcade version of SF2. Some people would kick my ass 1 vs 1, but against the cpu I rocked. I finished the game with perfect victories against all chars on the hardest setting.
There was a rumor going around that It would allow you to play as the 3 bosses, but nothing happened.
