Now you know I bought this.

I was looking through the Sega Games on Amazon for fun, and saw VF5 in the new section going for 1.88. BOOM!

I took pics to prove it, but, more than likely, they will reject it when they see how much I paid for it. If this place doesn't, then yeah!

Has anyone ever come out a winner from these internet screw ups? I sincerely hope you do since that's a great price for a great game but every single time I hear of something like this, the next bit of news is always "so my order was canceled..." Anyone know of a situation like this where people actually got what they ordered?

When Sony launched their 1st PSP-2000 "slim" bundle pack (including Daxter, Family Guy Greatest Hits, and 1Gig Memory Stick) Target had it on their website for $169.99 (the cost of the standard fat PSP core at the time).

This was the first day the system was out, and it said "in-store-only pricing", so I printed the ad out, brought it to Target, and asked the clerk to ring me up.

When the bundle rang up at $199.99 I showed her the ad, she called her manager over who took a look at the ad, looked at the register, and did a price adjust - no questions asked.

When I got home later that day and checked the Target website, I saw that the price was adjusted to $199.99. I'm sure quite a few other people took "advantage" of that "special pricing" (AKA clerical error).

these prices are always honered by big name companies. however if this was one of amazon's sellers you just conveniently get a message telling you they are out of stock. (happened to me with an art book)

Myself included :D

So was this deal on the PS3 or 360 Version? Looks like I missed out :(

I have not heard anything yet, but my CC also has not been charged yet. Maybe or maybe not, I do not know at the point.

I am guessing they will pick up on it and cancel my order since they have not charged me, yet, but it would be awesome if this one slipped through

Not true, when Wal-Mart mispriced Super Smash Bros. for the Wii at $20, they simply cancelled all the orders.

Sad news for me. They called me an cancelled. I figured they would do that. Every once in awhile, one will slip through, but it was not my order, so I went to Blockbuster and got VF5 for 15.99 (last copy they had).
