Offer good in select markets with 24 month contract until August 17th. Triple Play offers Cable/Internet/Digital Voice (I'm assuming VOIP) service, usually @ $99/month.

If you been looking for one or have been on the fence whether or not to buy one... check it out. ;)

A free Wii still doesn't justify being stuck in a 24 moth contract with Comcast and their shitty service. Unless you don't mind having your bittorrent throttled, poor usenet service, and a load of other issues (and that's just for their broadband), then go for it.

And after the first 12 months, the price goes up to normal rates anyway, which is over $200 per month for all 3 services. So it's really not that great of a deal.

(BTW while typing this, my email started acting screwy and it's asking me for password even though I'm entering it correctly. Just another typical day in the life a Comcast customer.)

It's not bad if you have no alternatives. In Philly, it's the fastest we can get. It still sucks royally, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's not. For $70 a month for just internet, it could be a hell of a lot better, though.

If you have other options, I'd steer clear. If you don't, then maybe it's a good deal for you...

Never had a problem with Comcast, in my local area it's the only choice I have really and it's actually been awesome with my broadband, been a customer for awhile.

I've had Comcast internet for over four years and i've never had a problem with them.

Comcast changed their deal rather quickly, now you have to sign up for the "Preferred Plus Triple Play" to get a free Wii, which is basically the "every premium movie channel" package, which ends up costing almost $200 a month after taxes and fees.
Not a great deal, sadly.

Being a former comcast customer and a current Wii owner, this is not a good deal. Being stuck with Comcast for 2 years is not worth the 250$. Not only did comcast cable service go in and out just as much as my Dish with thunder storms, they subtracted 5 channels in 2 years charged me the same price and never added any new channels to replace the ones they took away.

I have been a comcast customer (internet and tv) for 4 years. Cable only went out once and never had a problem with the internet. Must depend on location?

I guess :| Comcast blows nuts here, goes out a lot and they give the most BS ever. Customer Service is horrible, they charge way to much for the shit service they provide.

Saying that customer service is horrible is an understatement. It's ranked 2nd worst (right behind AOL) according to a new MSN poll:

And I'll never forget the time customer service at my local Comcast office last year made me produce a death certificate for my mother so I can get the bill name changed to my dad's name. Argued with them for 15 minutes about that one and when I show them a copy of the death certificate the next day, they tell me that they didn't need it. Fucking assholes.

I'm finishing up my one year $99 comcast triple play and the first 6 months were great. As for the second 6, there have been a few problems, including one incident were all three were out for 24 hours straight. And there weren't even any storms. They called it "outtages". I wanted to "outtage" their ass for Verizon. But things are better now.

One time I accidentally sent them my rent check ($200) and sent my landlord my Comcast payment. This was a month before I moved and cancelled service. They somehow cashed my check and after deducting my last month's bill off of it pocketed ~$170. I tried for 6 months to get it back and was given the run-around the entire time. I really hate Comcast, but there really isn't a good alternative here. Fortunately I'm getting free cable tv off of them, so I guess it is evening out.

If you're in an area where you can get Charter, I highly recommend that.
