Atari Video Computer System / 2600

WIZARD OF WOR

· There are only 2 different dungeons.

· The Worrior always flickers, even though it’s not sharing its display with any other object(s).

· By pushing RIGHT+LEFT or UP+DOWN you can pass through walls and even get outside the arena (picture #1).  {Tony Roy}

· BUG: The Worrior generally has the same sound effect when firing, but in a 2-player game, the sound effect will change when the other player starts firing (either side).  When one of the players dies, the sound effect will revert back to the original sound until the other player fires again!  {Scott Stilphen}

· BUG: If you and/or the other player are down to either their last player (or one of you has died), there is always a Worrior in both the lower-corner “boxes” (picture #2).  The only time you can see it is if you hit the Worluk (and the Wizard doesn’t appear), the screen flashes colors, revealing them (since they’re colored black).  {Scott Stilphen}

· FRYING: Two different things can happen on frying. The first produces strange mazes, ones where you can walk through walls but can't shoot through and other strange anomalies. The second thing is harder to produce, and starts with the two players standing at the bottom of the field as if someone had reset the game, only there are no enemies on the screen. The left player appears to have infinite lives (or at least a lot of lives) but the right player only had 3. Hitting RESET returns the game to normal.
